You can use Yahoo Messenger in your petite business to talk with your employees and clients, and there is no cost for the service. Yahoo Messenger permits you to send and receive instant messages and can also store those instant messages in the Conversation History archive if you have the feature enabled. Stored messages may pose a security risk to your business, so you need to delete them regularly. Yahoo Messenger permits you to lightly delete talk scripts, but the process might take longer than you expect because you can’t delete them all at once.

1. Launch Yahoo Messenger and log in using your Yahoo ID and password.

Two. Click "Messenger" in the upper-left corner of the Yahoo Messenger window and select "Preferences" to open the Yahoo Messenger Preferences window.

Trio. Click "Conversation History" in the left navigation pane.

Four. Click the "View Conversation History" button in the right pane to open the Conversation History window.

Five. Select "View All" in the box in the upper-left corner of the Conversation History window to view all talk scripts.

6. Click the very first contact in the Latest Contacts pane at the left.

7. Click the "Delete entire history" icon — the icon with a paper and a trash can on it — in the upper-right corner of the Conversation History window.

8. Click "Delete" in the Delete Conversations window to confirm the act.

9. Repeat the process to delete all talk scripts from all contacts. Click the "Stream more contacts" link at the bottom of the left pane to view more contacts.
